The guide ensures that the rod and piston in your hydraulic cylinder remain aligned and can absorb lateral forces and that no metallic contact can occur. A guide is available as a preformed ring or can be manufactured from strip. Depending on the application, this is made from POM (filled or not), PTFE or synthetic resin bonded fabric.
