Cassette seals are the ideal shaft seals in environments with heavy soiling. Examples include the wheel shafts of tractors and agricultural vehicles and construction vehicles. Cassette seals consist of a separate running surface on which the sealing lip works, combined with several lips for keeping dirt out. By using these multiple lips, these seals meet the extreme requirements of construction and earthmoving. Cassette seals are available in both an NBR and FKM version, enabling them to be used in a wide range of temperatures.
