3M Fibre abrasive disc for stainless steel machining, Cubitron II 987C 180mm

Design: Fully resin-bonded, self-sharpening ceramic grain (Cubitron? II) in tear-proof, heavy vulcanised rubber, even and semi-open grain. The individual grains of the ceramic Cubitron ? II abrasives are small, precisely-shaped triangles, perpendicular in arrangement, and uniform in size. They are uniformly distributed but randomly spread, as the typical finish of a fibre disc shows. High-powered, flexible grinding with high removal rate, lasts up to 3 times longer and up to 30 % faster removal. Grinding-activated additives prevent clogging and make for cooler grinding.

Application: In all metal-working companies, where high removal rates combined with very good surface finishes need to be achieved. For use with backing bad on all angle grinders. Ideal for surface grinding, cast iron work, flame-torch work on stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and nickel alloys.
