BECK Hand reamer HSS, adjustable type 1504

Design: DIN 859, form B, with cylinder shank and square drive.
The uneven tooth pitch ensure chatter-free and accurate drilling. The body of the reamer is slotted, the nominal Ø can be increased to approx. 1/100 by turning the head screw in. The setting should be made using a ring gauge ( order no. 4411). All required adaptations can be set and wear compensated. Reamers are set to the nominal size. It should not be dropped due to the increased risk of breakage. Store depressurised. Bright surface,
The Ø 4 and 5 mm are straight fluted, spiral fluted from Ø 6 mm (left spiral 7°).

Application: Perfectly suited for single production or repair work, only for reaming through-holes. Not suitable for machining blind holes due to the conical point geometry and head screw. Also suitable for holes with interrupted cut. Particularly suitable for steel materials up to 500 N/mm² in strength e.g. general construction steels, steel materials up to 900 N/mm² in strength such as machine steels, tempered steels, tool steels, case-hardening steels, casting materials and non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, brass, copper and bronzes.

Note: The hand reamer is sensitive to impacts and chips should therefore not be knocked out, but blown or washed out.
