Design: Body and tip drop forged, hardened and ground. Moving point is regrindable for several times and shank-mounted, with low 60° VL tip angle deflection. The precision bearing is protected from dirt and coolant by the special lip seal. The shank is ground, with hole for easy dismantling.
Clamping force can be read directly in daN from the manometer. Pressure equalisation is done via disc springs.
Application: Particularly suitable as tail centre to face drivers, to determine and maintain the clamping force as well as to clamp long, slim workpieces to prevent deflections.
